Welcome to my website, and thanks for taking the time to look at the galleries. This completely insane interest in photography didn't fully take over my body until santa claus brought me my first dslr camera several years ago. That camera was and still is my old and trusted Nikon D40x. Over the years, I have added a Nikon D300s and dozens of filters, lenses and various other gizmos and gadgets all in the name of capturing better images.

Having escaped the massive Washington D.C./ Baltimore metropolitan area, I now Live with my wonderful loving wife of over 32 years and three mini dachshunds on a very quiet barrier island off the coast North Carolina. This great location allows me the opportunity to photogragh many of the most colorful and exciting species of birds and other wildlife and natural landscapes we are blessed to see in North America.

The great thing about wildlife and landscape photography on a barrier island off the carolina coast is I never have to travel very far to find great subjects to capture with a camera. It's an exciting and fun process and the thing I love to do the most.
